This Joe Davis snooker cue is manufactured by Peradon in England from kiln dried, North American Ash and exotic Ebony.

Manufacture and specifications

The Ash wood is carefully selected for strength and straightness before being turned and machine split into the finest ebony.

An ebony front weld and Sycamore veneer are then spliced ​​onto the stem ends to further enhance the look.

The cue is then turned to the final tapered finish before the numerous sanding and finishing processes are carried out to achieve a 'silk smooth' finish.

To avoid joint problems, the two parts of the 'quick acting' joint are each precision turned from a single piece of solid brass and mounted exactly 12" from the end of the rod to give the 46" shaft length.

A 'quick action' butt joint will be fitted to accept the optional extensions on the 'related products' section of this page.

Extensions can be made in the ¾ joint in the cue or in the butt joint.

The stock is finished with a nameplate featuring the signature of the legendary Joe Davis, who praised Peradon's craftsmanship and gave the company the exclusive right to use his name indefinitely.

This cue has a solid brass ring and a 9 ½ to 10 mm Elkmaster point.
