It is very easy to renew a sliding tip.
For example, if a pasted tip is off. Find the right size sliding tip. You do this by measuring the diameter of the top of the cue. Then order that size sliding tip. When renewing a sliding tip : cut the sliding tip vertically with a knife. Then you can remove the sliding tip. If you then look in the sliding tip, you will see the size in small. Slide cues must always be pushed rigidly over the cue. You tap the last piece on it by tapping the cue the other way around on the ground.
